iUI is an HTML/JavaScript library designed to mimic the user interface of the iPhone.
At first, before I had a real iPhone, I thought it did a pretty good job. After getting an iPhone, I started to notice little inconsistencies that wound up running deep into the iUI framework.
Today, I use a very customized version of iUI that stays much truer to the iPhone interface. This leads to almost all the benefits of the native iPhone experience without having to touch Objective C. Nice.

Ben,
I sent you an email replying to your response to my posting on Craigslist.
Thought I’d send a message through here as well just to make sure you got it.

Regarding improving iUI, actually adding an image gallery, consider Jaipho – iPhone optimized javascript gallery.
Here is the article how to integrate it with iUI http://www.jaipho.com/content/using-jaipho-iui

Yeah, I too found iUI to be less then optimal and decided to write my own implementation.
