For PHP applications, nothing is better than the Zend Studio IDE. I have their small business package, which means they call me and ask how I’m doing.
The most important features of ZDE are:
* Intellisense
* Site-wide regex search
* Mountable FTP projects

It also has a built-in mySQL front end, but I prefer the now defunct mySQL CC.
